Tom Till has been photographing landscape, nature, history and travel subjects worldwide for over 40 years. Till has been called one of the "Lords of Landscape Photography" by Outdoor Photographer Magazine and one of America's top 10 landscape photographers by Nature's Best Magazine . He was featured in the book World's Best Landscape Photographers and was one of 10 photographers in a new Chinese published book about American Landscape Photographers. I was introduced to Tom Till's photography by younger brother Stephen who lived and taught in an elementary school in Moab, Utah. I have a number of framed photographs and prints by Tom Till hanging in my bedroom, one photograph is of Delicate Arch located in Arches National Park which was a special gift from my brother on my 60th birthday. We climbed to Delicate Arch together in 2001.
I feel as though this series of images describes you almost perfectly and I love the depth in "BUDDA". The lighting on the figure compared to the background lighting makes the photo very interesting and dramatic.
ReplyDeleteI really like the Sunapee Souvenirs scan. I think the quality of this scan is really crisp and nice, and I like the simple white background. The objects you chose for this one scanned in really nicely and I think it's very nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI love 'President Stuart'! Something about it is just so funny that I can't help but laugh while looking it at. This photo is a great description of your personality as well.

ReplyDeleteI like the one with the marbles. I think the texture and values will make an interesting cyanoptype. I also like the composition of how they are scattered
ReplyDeleteI like the three presidents. I think it is so funny. I think your pictures are so different because you use a white background. The pictures look so clean and identified.
